Dick Maalsen has been a dedicated runner all his life,... He started running at the age of 16years old and still running 45 years later. Nature is his playground, the beach, the dunes, and the forests are some of his favorite places to explore. In nature and he can fully immerse himself in the moment.

Dick has a background in Physical Education and is a Mindful Running & Walking Coach. He helps people improve their technique of running and breathing. He does this from the principle of "mindfulness", the conscious feeling of what your body does. Performance, time, distance and speed are not important. The running itself and the attention one pays to nature are the ultimate goals.This gives a feeling of freedom so that running becomes a relaxed, enjoyable and fun part of your every daily life.

Dick organizes Mindful Running (weekly classes) & Mindful running Course for Beginners. In collaboration with Argantravel he organizes Mindful Running Excursions & Walking Treks.
